What is EXIF Viewer?
EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is a standard for metadata that digital cameras and smartphones embed in image files when shooting. It includes shooting date and time, camera manufacturer, lens information, exposure settings, GPS coordinates, and more. For privacy protection, it is recommended to check and remove EXIF data before posting to social media.

- Can I read EXIF from PNG or WebP images?
- This tool supports reading EXIF data from JPEG format only. PNG and WebP metadata are not currently supported.
- Can I delete EXIF data?
- Currently only EXIF data display is supported. Deletion is planned for a future update.
- How do I use this tool?
- Drag and drop or click to select a JPEG image and EXIF data will be automatically displayed in a list.
- Is my image sent to a server?
- No. All processing happens in your browser; no data is sent to any server.
- How is GPS information displayed?
- If GPS coordinates are present, the latitude and longitude values are shown along with a link to Google Maps.
